Kayla Janelle Tellier is a Vancouver-based film and television actress, best known for her part of Belinda in the short thriller Odd Girl. Kayla began her acting career in small classroom and School productions starting at the age of 9 and continued acting in theatre throughout high school. Embarking on her film acting career, Kayla determined that she would work as a background actor in order to observe the film industry from the inside. She then transitioned into a photo/body doubling job (The Returned, Once Upon a Time, Into the Forest), again observing the workings of a film set: this time from even closer up. Kayla did a two-year, intensive acting program, after which she began to pursue her Principal acting career and was recently nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Short at the FilmQuest Film Festival.
